Nose
Dried figs and raisins first, then a wave of sherry oak spice, clove and cinnamon, with dark chocolate shavings and a faint orange peel edge.
Palate
Full and velvety, almost oily. Sweet dried fruit up front, then bitter dark chocolate and Christmas cake spice. Oak tannin gives structure without harshness. A touch of orange oil lifts the midpalate.
Finish
