Nose
Ripe blackberry and plum jump out first, then a crack of black pepper and a faint earthy note underneath. Smells generous, not shy.
Palate
Medium to full body, round and juicy. Blackberry and plum lead, pepper picks up midpalate, gentle tannins and lively acid keep it fresh. Smooth, easygoing texture.
Finish
Finishes clean and medium long, with dark fruit fading slowly and a last whisper of pepper.
How to serve and what to pour it with
