Nose
Ripe blackberry and dark plum jump out first, followed by a crack of black pepper and a faint smoky note. A little warm earth underneath.
Palate
Full bodied but not heavy. Juicy dark berries and plum coat the tongue, then pepper and sweet spice move in. Tannins are soft and rounded, acidity keeps it fresh. Generous throughout.
Finish
Smooth and lingering. Dark fruit fades slowly with a final peppery tingle. Easy to take another sip.
How to serve and what to pour it with
