Little Ox Shiraz/syrah
A dark, peppery Shiraz from a small label we keep close.
The story behind Little Ox
Shiraz, the same grape the French call Syrah, makes a wine with real color and weight. In warm climates it leans toward dark plum, blackberry and cracked black pepper, with a firm tannic grip that softens as the bottle breathes. It is a red built for food, especially grilled and roasted meat.
Little Ox is a small label, and we only keep a bottle or two on the shelf at our Commack store. That means when it is here, it is here, and it moves. Ask us at the counter and we will tell you what is in stock that day.
