Nose
Soft earthy smoke first, then honeyed malt, vanilla cream, and ripe pear and apple, with a faint mineral edge underneath.
Palate
Medium bodied and rounded, honey and orchard fruit up front, gentle campfire smoke drifting through the middle, a thread of baking spice and pepper, smooth texture, balanced sweetness.
Finish
Lingering and warm, smoke fading slowly into honey and a dry oaky spice.
How to serve and what to pour it with
Serve neat at room temperature in a tulip or copita glass so the soft smoke gathers instead of blowing off. A few drops of water open the honey and fruit and tame nothing, since the peat is already gentle. Skip ice, it dulls the delicate smoke. Let it rest a minute after pouring.
