Palate
Round and silky in the mouth, honeyed malt sweetness, more toffee, golden raisin, a flicker of citrus, then a warm baking spice that builds gently without heat.
Finish
Medium length, drying slightly, with lingering toffee, dried fruit, and a soft rummy warmth.
How to serve and what to pour it with
Neat at room temperature in a tulip glass, or a rocks glass with one large cube if you want it cooler and softer. A few drops of water open the malt and tame the spice. Let it sit a minute after pouring before you nose it.
