The story behind Gionelli
Gionelli cordials are made in Italy and imported to the U.S. by Prestige Beverage Group. There is no documented founder named Gionelli and no founding year we can point to, so we won't invent one. What the brand is, plainly, is a value line of cocktail modifiers: neutral spirit, real citrus peel, almond, coffee, mint, blended in industrial vats and bottled unaged so the flavor stays consistent case after case.
The Triple Sec starts from vodka distilled four times, which is why it holds its orange character when you cut it with lime and sour mix. We have poured this line into Commack bar wells and backyard coolers for years. It is not a sipping cordial and never pretended to be. It is the bottle you keep on the shelf so a Tuesday margarita costs less than the chips.
