Nose
Bright red cherry and raspberry lift out of the glass first, then a soft vanilla note from oak, with a faint dusting of sweet spice behind it.
Palate
Medium bodied and supple, with juicy red fruit rolling straight through. Tannins are soft and fine, acidity keeps it fresh, and a gentle vanilla and clove spice shows up mid palate before easing off.
Finish
Ends clean and smooth, with red fruit fading slowly and a last touch of vanilla and mild spice.
How to serve and what to pour it with
Serve it slightly cool, around 60 to 65 degrees, in a standard red wine glass. No decanting needed, just pour and let it breathe a minute. If you keep it in the fridge, pull it out 15 minutes before pouring so the fruit and spice open up.
