Nose
The Chardonnay opens with baked apple and ripe peach, a wisp of vanilla from the oak. The reds push blackberry and plum, cocoa and a dusting of baking spice.
Palate
Chardonnay is creamy and round, stone fruit and apple carried by soft oak. The red blend and Cabernet turn dark and generous: blackberry, plum, cocoa, a warm spice note, tannins soft but present.
Finish
Chardonnay fades clean with a light oak echo. The reds linger on dark fruit and cocoa, gentle and warm.
How to serve and what to pour it with
Chill the Chardonnay lightly, around 50 to 55 degrees, in a white wine glass. Serve the reds at cellar temperature, 60 to 65, in a Bordeaux glass. No decanting needed, but a quick pour and a few minutes of air softens the tannins. The small bottles are best finished within a day or two of opening.
