Nose
Ripe apple and pear come up first, soft and a little sweet, with a squeeze of lemon behind them. Clean and easy, nothing oaky or heavy.
Palate
Soft and rounded from the first sip, medium body with low acid. The apple and pear fill the middle, then citrus brightens the edges. No oak, no butter, just smooth fruit.
Finish
Ends clean and fairly short, with a last trace of pear and lemon. Refreshing and uncomplicated.
How to serve and what to pour it with
Serve well chilled, around 45 to 50 degrees, in a standard white wine glass. No need to decant. If it has been in the fridge, let it sit a few minutes so the fruit opens up. A splash of chilled sparkling water stretches it nicely over ice in warm weather.
