The story behind Coastal Vines
Coastal Vines Pinot Grigio comes out of California, and the label itself was built for the trade. Bronco Wine Company, founded in 1973 by the Franzia family, created Coastal Vines as an on premise label for restaurants, hotels and bars, which tells you what the wine is designed to do: pour fresh, taste consistent, and hold up to fast service.
The grapes are 100 percent California grown Pinot Grigio, fermented cold in stainless steel tanks with no oak, so the citrus and honeysuckle stay bright instead of buried. The screw cap is not a shortcut, it is the point. We have sold this bottle for years to customers who want a chilled white they can open, reseal and finish over a few days without losing the snap.
