Nose

Palate
Medium to full body, round and easy in the mouth. Dark fruit rolls through first, blackberry and cherry, then vanilla and toasted oak. Tannins stay smooth and supple, acid keeps it lively, gentle spice on the close.
Finish
Warm and gently spicy, medium length. Toasted oak and a whisper of vanilla linger after the fruit fades.
How to serve and what to pour it with
Serve a touch below room temperature, around 60 to 65 degrees, in a wide-bowl red glass so the oak and fruit have room to open. No ice, that flattens the fruit. A short pour-and-wait of fifteen minutes in the glass softens the vanilla. If you decant, keep it brief, twenty minutes is plenty for a wine this approachable.
