Palate
Full bodied and smooth, with blackberry and cassis up front, then cedar and a touch of mocha. Tannins are firm but fine, acidity keeps it fresh.
Finish
Lingers nicely, echoing blackberry and a soft mocha note, with tannins that dry gently.
How to serve and what to pour it with
Serve at cellar temperature, around 60 to 65 degrees, in a Bordeaux glass. Decant for 30 minutes to open the fruit and soften the tannins. No ice. A splash of water can tame the alcohol if you prefer.
