Nose
Dried apricot and golden raisin first, then a clear vanilla note, with a faint clove and toasted oak edge behind it.
Palate
Medium bodied and round, with a soft texture. Dried fruit sweetness leads, vanilla follows, and a gentle oak spice warms the mid palate. Low grip, easy going.
Finish
Moderate length, ending on dried fruit and a whisper of oak spice that fades cleanly.
How to serve and what to pour it with
Serve neat in a tulip glass at room temperature, around 68 to 70 degrees. A splash of water opens the dried fruit if you want it softer. For cocktails, it holds up in a sidecar or a simple cognac highball. Warm the glass in your hand before sipping.
