The story behind Revanche
Cognac is a grape brandy from the Charente region of France, distilled from white wine and aged in oak barrels. The label tells you how long it rested: VS for at least two years, VSOP for four, XO for ten. It pours amber, smells of dried fruit and vanilla, and warms as it goes down.
We keep Revanche in two bottles, a 375mL and a 750mL, on the shelf in Commack. It is a small brand for us, so what you see is what we have.
