Teremana Tequila
Highland agave tequila, slow roasted three days in brick ovens.
The story behind Teremana
Teremana comes out of Jesús María, a small town in the Jalisco Highlands, where 100% Blue Weber agave grows in iron rich volcanic soil at roughly 7,000 feet. The piñas slow roast for 72 hours in small brick ovens, then ferment in open tanks and run twice through handmade copper pot stills at Destilería Teremana de Agave, NOM 1613.
Dwayne Johnson launched the brand in March 2020 with Dany Garcia, Ken Austin and Jenna Fagnan, working alongside the local Lopez family. The name pairs the Latin root for earth with the Polynesian word for spirit. Spent agave fiber goes back to the fields as compost. We have poured it since it landed on our shelves.

Bright citrus and white pepper hold up in a margarita or paloma without hiding.
Oak and soft caramel from whiskey barrels, easy over ice after dinner.
Liter format keeps a party poured without a second trip to the shelf.
Teremana cocktails and pairings
Match the expression to the plate. Blanco wants acid and salt, Reposado wants grilled meat, and Añejo wants something dark.
