The story behind Sun Moon
Sun Moon launched in 2024 out of New York City, co-founded by CEO and Certified Sommelier Kate Webb. It is the first wine brand built entirely around the twelve zodiac signs, with each bottling blended to match the traits of its sign. Production runs through sustainable New York partners such as Heron Hill Winery, in the Finger Lakes and North Fork AVAs, where vineyards farm low intervention and chemical free under wind and solar power.
The grapes are New York grown and regionally expressive: Blaufränkisch, Marquette, Maréchal Foch, Riesling, Cabernet Franc and Chenin Blanc, depending on the expression. We have poured sparkling wine on this stretch of Jericho Turnpike for over thirty years, and a young Finger Lakes label with this much nerve is worth a shelf.
