The story

The story behind Master Of Mixes

Master Of Mixes started in the early 1970s, when an entrepreneur backed by a syndicate of California investors, doctors and lawyers among them, put money behind a simple idea: a bartender should not have to squeeze forty limes to make one good margarita. The brand is American, made in New Albany, Indiana, and it has been in continuous production ever since.

We have stocked these bottles at our Commack counter for over 30 years, through every daiquiri summer and bloody mary brunch the Island has thrown at us. The line runs from 375mL bar staples like grenadine and simple syrup up to the 3L Margarita Bucket, which is exactly what it sounds like. Same shelf, same reliability, decade after decade.

Master Of Mixes questions, answered

Who owns Master Of Mixes?
Master Of Mixes is owned and produced by a parent company that manufactures the line in New Albany, Indiana. The brand began in the early 1970s with backing from a syndicate of California investors, and it has stayed in continuous production since.
Where is Master Of Mixes made?
Master Of Mixes is made in the United States, specifically in New Albany, Indiana. The brand was founded in the early 1970s and has been manufactured there under its parent company, which keeps production domestic rather than contracting overseas.
Are Master Of Mixes mixers alcoholic?
No. Master Of Mixes products are non-alcoholic cocktail mixers and bar syrups, so you add the spirit yourself. That means you control the pour and the strength, and the bottle keeps longer once opened. Check each label for its own storage guidance.
What is a cocktail mixer?
A cocktail mixer is a preblended non-alcoholic base, usually juice, syrup and flavoring, that you combine with spirits to build a drink. It replaces the squeezing, measuring and balancing step, so a margarita or bloody mary comes together in seconds instead of minutes.
