The story behind Frizecco
Frizecco comes out of Piedmont, the Northern Italian region where Moscato does its best work. The base is 100% Moscato grapes, Muscat Blanc, made in the frizzante style: controlled fermentation that keeps the natural grape sweetness and a light sparkle, then natural fruit flavorings layered in. No oak, no aging. These are bottled to be drunk young and cold, which is exactly how we sell them.
We have poured Moscato for Long Island customers for over 30 years, and the Frizecco line earns its shelf space on one thing: it does not pretend to be serious wine. Six percent ABV, 750mL, value pricing. Chill it to 43 to 46 degrees and the sweetness and carbonation balance out.
