Ripe blackberry and plum lead, with cocoa and cedar behind them and a warm spice note that lifts as it opens.

Palate

Full bodied but smooth, soft tannins carrying blackberry and plum into cocoa and cedar, with a gentle spice that keeps the ripe fruit in line.

Finish

Lingers on dark fruit and cocoa, soft and even, with a last touch of cedar and warm spice.

How to serve and what to pour it with

Serve at about 60 to 65 degrees, in a wide bowl Cabernet glass so the fruit has room. Decant 30 minutes if you can, it softens the cocoa and cedar. A slight chill is better than a warm room. Pour a modest glass, this is full bodied.
