Nose

Palate
Full and creamy, almost oily in texture. Ripe pear and toasted oak arrive first, then a butter note that softens the bright lemon acidity. Medium weight, balanced.
Finish
Long and smooth, echoing vanilla and pear. The acidity keeps it from feeling heavy.
How to serve and what to pour it with
Serve lightly chilled, around 55 to 60 degrees, in a wide bowl Chardonnay glass so the oak and fruit have room. No ice. A short decant, 15 minutes, opens the vanilla and softens the butter note. If it is too cold from the fridge, let it sit out ten minutes before pouring.
