Nose
Dried figs and raisins first, then toasted oak and a clear vanilla note, with a wisp of clove and caramel.
Palate
Full and rounded, almost creamy. Dark caramel and dried cherry up front, toasted oak and baking spice in the middle, a gentle sweetness that stays in check. Warm, not hot.
Finish
Long and smooth, fading slowly with vanilla, oak and a last flicker of spice.
How to serve and what to pour it with
Pour neat in a tulip glass at room temperature, and give it a few minutes to open. A single drop of water softens the oak if you want it rounder. Skip ice, which mutes the dried fruit. Warm the glass in your hands to lift the spice.
