Nose
Vanilla leads, warm and rounded, then caramel and a dusting of cinnamon and clove. A faint cola sweetness sits underneath, with a soft peppery edge.
Palate
Medium bodied and smooth, almost creamy. Caramel and vanilla coat the tongue first, then baking spice builds, finishing with a cola like sweetness and a gentle pepper kick.
Finish
Moderate length, warm and clean. The pepper lingers gently, with a return of vanilla and a whisper of cola.
How to serve and what to pour it with
Pour over a generous cube in a rocks glass to keep the sweetness in check. For rum and cola, use a tall glass with plenty of ice and a squeeze of lime. A splash of water opens the vanilla. Keep it at room temperature, never chilled in the bottle.
