Nose
Ripe apricot jumps out first, then a soft marzipan note, like the almond hiding inside the pit. A little honeyed sweetness underneath.
Palate
Full and syrupy, almost velvet. The apricot tastes cooked and concentrated, not raw, with a gentle almond bitterness on the mid palate that keeps it from being cloying. Sweetness is high but balanced by that nutty edge.
Finish
Lingers with warm stone fruit and a clean almond fade. Medium length, sweet but not sticky.
