Nose
Deep, jammy blackcurrant, almost like a spoonful of cooked-down berries, with a faint leafy tartness underneath and a soft, sweet edge.
Palate
Syrupy and round, coating the tongue. The blackcurrant comes on strong and jammy, then a bright, slightly tart acidity cuts through the sweetness, keeping it from cloying. Smooth, with a gentle warmth.
Finish
Lingering berry sweetness, fading slowly with a soft, rounded tartness that keeps it fresh.
How to serve and what to pour it with
