Nose
Dried cherries and figs first, then toasted oak and a clean vanilla note, with a faint rye spice and orange peel lifting the back.
Palate
Medium full body, oily and smooth. Vanilla and caramel up front, dried fruit in the middle, toasted oak and a gentle cinnamon spice on the tail. Warm but not hot.
Finish
Long and warming, fading to vanilla, oak char, and a soft dried fruit sweetness that lingers.
How to serve and what to pour it with
Neat in a rocks glass at room temperature, or one large cube if you want it colder and slightly softened. A few drops of water open the dried fruit and tame the oak. Let it rest a minute after pouring. Sip slowly; the spice builds.
