Nose
Soft vanilla and caramel up front, then toasted oak and a dusting of clove and cinnamon. A little baked apple sneaks in as it opens.
Palate
Round and easy in the mouth, medium bodied. Sweet caramel and vanilla lead, oak and gentle rye spice follow, with a faint brown sugar warmth underneath. Nothing harsh, nothing thin.
Finish
Warm and lingering, drying slowly to oak and a last flick of spice. Comfortable length that invites another sip.
How to serve and what to pour it with
Neat in a rocks glass at room temperature, or one large cube if you want it softer. A few drops of water open the caramel and calm the proof. Let it sit a minute after pouring so the oak settles. Sip slowly, this one rewards patience over ice.
