Nose
Orchard fruit first, baked pear and soft peach, then a floral lift and a thread of vanilla and light oak behind it.
Palate
Rounded and soft on entry, medium body, caramel and ripe apple mid-palate, gentle baking spice and a faint sweetness that keeps it easygoing. Low rye bite, creamy texture.
Finish
Medium length, fading on caramel, vanilla and a last touch of warm spice.
How to serve and what to pour it with
Pour neat at room temperature in a tulip glass or a glencairn so the fruit has somewhere to gather. A splash of cool water opens the floral side without flattening it. Skip the big ice cube unless you want it chilled. Sip slowly, this one shows more as it sits.
