Two James Gin
Small batch Detroit gin, stocked behind our counter for years.
The story behind Two James
Two James is a small distillery gin, the kind of bottle that shows up on a back bar because a bartender asked for it, not because a distributor pushed it. Old Cockney is a London dry style gin, which means the juniper leads and the botanicals are distilled in, not compounded after the fact. That structure is why it holds up in a martini and does not disappear under vermouth.
We have carried Two James long enough to know who buys it twice. The drinker who wants a gin that tastes like gin, juniper forward with a dry finish, and no citrus candy in the glass. We cannot tell you the exact botanical bill or the still size, and we will not pretend otherwise. What we can tell you is how it pours, and it pours clean.

Which Two James is right for you?
Old Cockney sits at $33.99 for a 750mL, which is honest money for a small batch gin you can actually drink neat. Compare it to the big London dry labels and you are paying for the distillery, not the advertising. The 28 Island vodka runs $28.99 and Rye Dog is $49.99 when we have them. At this price, buy two and keep one for the martini and one for the shelf.
Juniper forward and dry, so vermouth does not bury it
Tastes like gin, not candy, with a clean finish
Easy to grab curbside in Commack on the way home
Two James cocktails and pairings
Keep it simple. Old Cockney wants brine, salt and fat, not sugar.
