The story

The story behind Rodano

Chianti is the classic red of Tuscany, built on Sangiovese with its bright cherry fruit, firm acidity and a dusty, savory edge. Chianti Classico comes from the historic zone between Florence and Siena, where the wines tend to be a step deeper and more structured than the broader Toscana bottlings.

We stock Rodano in Commack in very small quantity, one to two bottles at a time, so what you see is what we have. These are honest, food driven Tuscan reds rather than showpieces.
