The story

The story behind Pearl

Pearl Vodka comes out of Alberta, Canada, made from 100% soft winter wheat grown in Western Canada and water drawn from the Canadian Rocky Mountains. It is distilled five times and filtered six times in micro-batches, which strips the fusel oils that make cheap vodka bite. The brand launched in 2000 and has been owned by Luxco, headquartered in St. Louis, since May 2004.

We have poured Pearl behind this counter for a long stretch now, and it earns its shelf space the boring way: it is clean, it is consistent, and it does not argue with whatever you mix it into. The original black label sits at 40% ABV, 80 proof, and the flavored line runs on real sugar and real flavoring rather than candy perfume.
