Maracame Tequila
Small brand tequila, three expressions, one honest agave spine.
The story behind Maracame
Maracame is a tequila label built on the standard Mexican model: blue agave cooked, crushed, fermented and distilled, then rested in oak for the aged expressions. The Plata is clear and unaged, the Reposado sees a few months in wood, the Anejo longer, and that ladder is the whole point of the range. We do not publish claims about this brand's exact distillery, village or founding year because those details are not reliably established, and we would rather say so than invent them.
What we can tell you is what the bottles do. Agave forward, cooked and earthy rather than sweet, with the oak doing quiet work on the aged two. It is the kind of tequila you keep on the shelf for sipping and for margaritas that taste like agave instead of syrup. We have poured and sold this style for three decades in Commack, and the plain rule holds: good agave, honest proof, no candy.

Which Maracame is right for you?
The range sits where a real agave tequila should. Maracame Plata is $39.99, the Reposado $49.99, the Anejo $59.99, all 750mL. That is a fair step up for each rest in wood, and it keeps the aged bottles in everyday reach rather than special occasion territory. Buy the Plata for margaritas and the Anejo for the glass after dinner, and you have covered both ends of the shelf for about a hundred dollars.
Clear agave that holds up against lime and orange without turning sweet.
A few months of wood softens the agave without burying it.
Richer and rounder, best neat in a small glass with time to open.
Maracame cocktails and pairings
Serve the Plata in a margarita or a paloma, the Reposado neat or over one cube, and the Anejo after dinner. Agave likes salt, citrus and grilled things.
