Gubinelli Malbec
A small-batch Malbec we keep just a bottle or two of.
The story behind Gubinelli
Malbec is a red grape that made its name in Argentina, where high-altitude vineyards in Mendoza give it deep color, ripe plum and blackberry fruit, and a soft, rounded texture. It is also the historic grape of Cahors in southwest France, where it runs darker and more structured. Either way, it is a generous, food-friendly red that drinks well young.
We stock Gubinelli Malbec 750mL here in Commack in very small quantity, one to two bottles at a time. If you want it, call ahead and we will hold it for you.

Which Gubinelli is right for you?
The Gubinelli Malbec 750mL is priced at $23.98, and we only keep a bottle or two on hand. That is a fair number for a weeknight red with this much dark fruit and softness. Call the store at (631) 343-7200 to confirm it is still on the shelf before you drive over.
Soft tannin and dark fruit stand up to steak and burgers without fuss.
Only a bottle or two in stock, so it is worth grabbing when you see it.
Gubinelli cocktails and pairings
Malbec likes grilled and roasted red meat, and it holds up to smoky, savory flavors.
