Four Virtues Pinot Noir
Bourbon barrel reds from California, poured by a merchant who knows them.
The story behind Four Virtues
Four Virtues is a California label built around a simple idea: take ripe, generous red fruit and rest it in bourbon barrels. The result is a Pinot Noir with the grape's soft cherry core wrapped in vanilla, caramel and a lick of sweet oak. It is not a delicate Burgundian style and it does not pretend to be. Think California sunshine meets a Kentucky cooperage.
We have carried this line long enough to know exactly who walks out with it. The Pinot Noir is the easy drinker of the group, the Cabernet brings more grip, and the Zinfandel is the boldest of the three. None of them are shy. If you like a red that tastes like dessert spices without actual sugar, Four Virtues earns its place on the shelf.

Which Four Virtues is right for you?
The Four Virtues lineup sits in comfortable everyday territory. The Bourbon Pinot Noir is $11.98, the Bourbon Cabernet is $15.99, and the Zinfandel is $19.99. For a barrel aged California red, that is honest money. Buy a mixed three pack and you have a red for pizza night, a red for steak, and a red for whoever shows up late. Four Virtues cocktails and pairings
These are sweet oaked reds, so lean into smoke and fat. Serve slightly cool and let the vanilla do the work.
