Cenote Tequila
Jalisco agave, Bourbon barrel mellowed, poured in Commack since day one.
The story behind Cenote
Cenote is made in Jalisco, inside the legally designated tequila region, from 100% Blue Weber agave grown six to seven years before harvest. The Stoli Group built the brand from scratch and launched it globally in 2017, with distillation at Fabrica de Tequilas Finos under master distillers including Arturo Fuentes and biotechnologist Miguel Cedeño Cruz. The name and the bottle art come from the freshwater sinkholes of the Yucatán, though every drop is distilled and aged in Jalisco.
What separates Cenote is the water and the wood. Deep artesian well water drawn near the base of the Tequila Volcano runs through charcoal, silver ion filtration and reverse osmosis, and the spirit is double distilled in copper and stainless pot stills. Even the Blanco rests three weeks in single use American oak Bourbon barrels, which is why it drinks softer than a raw silver.

Which Cenote is right for you?
Our shelf runs $39.99 for the Cenote Blanco 750mL, $47.99 for the Reposado and $55.99 for the Añejo, which puts a barrel rested añejo under sixty dollars, a fair place to start if you have been paying more for less. The Blanco is the cocktail workhorse and the Añejo is the sipper, so many customers take one of each and let the bottle decide the evening. Buy Cenote online and we will have it ready for curbside pickup in Commack or local delivery across Nassau and Suffolk.
Mellowed three weeks in oak, so it rounds out lime and orange instead of fighting them.
Twelve months in toasted American oak gives chocolate and spice without sweetness.
