The story behind Bardstown
Bardstown Bourbon Company was founded in 2014 in Bardstown, Kentucky, and fired its stills in 2016. Founders Peter Loftin, David Mandell, Daniel Linde and Garnett Black built a software-driven campus that runs more than 50 mash bills for over 30 client brands, so the house learned blending by doing it at scale.
What separates Bardstown is disclosure. Labels name the origin state, mash bill and aging percentages of every sourced and estate stock in the bottle. The Collaborative Series finishes mature whiskey in custom casks from partners like Foursquare Rum and Maison Ferrand Cognac. We have poured these since the first cases landed in Commack.
