About this bottle
Crafted in the red-clay highlands of Jesús María, Jalisco, G4 Reposado is an artisanal tequila that celebrates four generations of the Camarena family’s mastery. The spirit begins with mature blue Weber agave, slow-cooked in traditional brick ovens, crushed by stone tahona, and fermented with microflora native to the estate. Master distiller Felipe Camarena then distills twice in copper stills using a unique 50/50 blend of collected rainwater and deep-well spring water, imparting remarkable purity and minerality. The tequila rests for six months in once-used bourbon barrels, developing a pale golden hue and a harmonious balance between fresh agave character and subtle oak.
On the nose, expect bright roasted agave, green apple, and white pepper layered with gentle vanilla and toasted coconut. The palate opens silky and full-bodied; citrus oil, baked pineapple, and honey mingle with caramel, light baking spice, and a whisper of sea salt. A long, warming finish leaves echoes of butterscotch, cracked pepper, and earthy minerality, making each sip complex yet refreshingly clean.
