Nose
Dark cherries and blackberries lead, with a slice of plum and a faint dusting of baking spice. A little air brings out a soft cocoa note.
Palate
Full bodied and rounded, soft tannins let the dark fruit roll through: blackberry, plum, a hint of spice. Smooth texture, low acidity, very approachable.
Finish
Lingers gently with plum and a whisper of sweet spice. Medium length, smooth and clean.
How to serve and what to pour it with
Serve slightly below room temperature, around 62 to 65 degrees. A wide bowl lets the fruit open up. No decanting needed, but a few minutes in the glass helps. Pour a generous glass and let it sit while you get dinner going.
