Nose
Soft caramel and dried fig first, then toasted hazelnut and a lift of baked red plum. Gentle spirit warmth, no sharpness, and a faint orange peel edge.
Palate
Light to medium body, silky and rounded rather than syrupy. Caramel and fig lead, baked cherry and plum follow, toasted nut and a soft sweetness close. Low tannin, gentle acidity keeps it from cloying.
Finish
Mellow and medium length, fading on caramel, toasted nut and a whisper of dried fruit. Gently sweet, never heavy.
How to serve and what to pour it with
Serve slightly cool, around 60 to 65 degrees, in a small tulip or copita so the caramel and nut aromas gather. Neat is best here; skip ice, which flattens the dried fruit. No decanting needed, it is ready on opening. A splash of soda works if you want it lighter. Once open, it holds well for weeks.
