Nose
Ripe plum and black cherry lead, with a soft mocha note and a wisp of cedar drifting up from the glass.
Palate
Medium to full bodied, plush and rounded. Black cherry and plum fill the mid palate, then mocha and a gentle cedar spice emerge. Tannins are soft, acidity keeps it fresh.
Finish
Clean and gently spicy, with lingering black cherry and a touch of cedar. Medium length, easy to return to.
How to serve and what to pour it with
Serve at cellar temperature, around 60 to 65 degrees, in a Bordeaux glass so the fruit has room to open. No decanting needed for a young bottle like this, but a quick pour and a few minutes of air help the mocha note show. Keep the bottle corked between glasses.
