Nose

Palate
Medium to full body, smooth and round, soft tannins that barely grip. Blackberry and plum carry through, then a warm spice note shows up mid-palate and stays.
Finish
Finishes with soft tannins and a lingering pepper spice, medium length, clean and easy.
How to serve and what to pour it with
Serve it at about 60 to 65 degrees, slightly below room temperature, in a wide-bowl red glass so the fruit has room to open. No decanting needed, but a few minutes in the glass helps the spice settle. If it feels tight, a quick swirl is enough. Keep the bottle cool on a warm day.
