Nose
Sweet corn and vanilla lead, with a light toasted oak note and a faint caramel edge. A little air brings out a soft grain sweetness.
Palate
Medium bodied and smooth, with a gentle warmth. Sweet corn and vanilla come first, then light oak and a hint of caramel. Soft texture, low bite, easy sipping.
Finish
Short to medium, clean and warm, fading with vanilla and a whisper of oak.
How to serve and what to pour it with
Neat in a rocks glass at room temperature, or over one large cube if you want it cooler and slightly diluted. A splash of water opens the vanilla. Let it rest a minute after pouring. Works well in a whiskey sour or with ginger ale.
