Nose
Soft caramel and vanilla rise first, with a faint toasted oak note and a dusting of cinnamon and clove behind it.
Palate
Light to medium body, smooth and rounded. Sweet caramel and vanilla open, then toasted oak and warm baking spice settle in without any harsh edge.
Finish
Clean and mellow, fading gently with lingering vanilla and a whisper of oak.
How to serve and what to pour it with
Serve neat in a rocks glass at room temperature, or over one large cube if you want it a touch colder and softer. A splash of water opens the caramel without dulling the spice. Skip the decanter; this one does not need air. Sip slowly.
