Nose
Soft vanilla and caramel rise first, then cooked agave, sweet and a little earthy, with a faint oaky warmth in the background.
Palate
Mellow and round in the mouth, lightly oily. Cooked agave leads, caramel follows, a gentle oak note and a whisper of black pepper on the edges. Low heat, easy going down.
Finish
Medium length, fading slowly with sweet agave and a soft oaky warmth that lingers just enough.
How to serve and what to pour it with
Serve neat at room temperature in a small tulip glass or a snifter, letting it breathe a minute or two to open the vanilla. For a cooler sip, pour over one large cube, which softens the oak without drowning the agave. A splash of water is optional and tames the light pepper.
