Nose
Soft peat smoke first, then honeyed malt and a lift of dried apricot and fig. A faint orange peel note sits underneath, with a wisp of vanilla from the cask.
Palate
Round and silky in the mouth, honey and malt lead, dried fruit follows, and gentle smoke weaves through. Warmth builds without heat, a touch of toffee and oak spice on the mid palate.
Finish
Long and mellow, smoke fades slowly into honeyed malt and a lingering dried fruit sweetness. No harsh edge.
How to serve and what to pour it with
