Nose
Honeyed malt leads, soft and round, with a wisp of peat smoke drifting behind. A faint grain sweetness and a touch of green apple sit underneath.
Palate
Light to medium body, silky on the tongue. Honey and malt barley come first, then a gentle smokiness that stays in the background. A soft sweetness keeps it easy, with almost no bite.
Finish
Short and soft, leaving honey and a whisper of smoke. Clean and gentle, not drying.
How to serve and what to pour it with
Serve neat in a tulip glass at room temperature, or add a splash of cool water to open the honey and soften the smoke. For a highball, pour over plenty of ice and top with soda, stir once. A single large ice cube works if you want it chilled without dilution.
