Nose
Soft caramel and vanilla rise first, with a faint rye grain edge and a wisp of toasted oak. Light and clean, not perfumed.
Palate
Light to medium body, silky and rounded. Sweet caramel leads, then vanilla, finishing with a gentle rye spice that keeps it from cloying. No harshness, just an easy glide.
Finish
Short and warm, fading with a soft caramel sweetness and a whisper of pepper. Clean and uncomplicated.
How to serve and what to pour it with
Serve neat at room temperature in a small tulip or rocks glass. A single ice cube opens the caramel and tames the faint spice. For a highball, use a 1:2 ratio with cold soda and a lemon twist. This 50ml is a perfect single pour to taste before committing to a full bottle.
