Nose
Caraway leaps out first, clean and sharp, with a whisper of cumin and a faint green fennel note underneath. Cool and seedlike, not perfumed.
Palate
Syrupy but not heavy, less sweet than most cordials. Caraway dominates from entry, then a bitter botanical edge and a cooling, almost minty sensation midpalate. Fennel and a trace of cumin round it out.
Finish
Lingering caraway and a cool, mint-like tingle. Bitter and clean, not cloying. Medium length.
How to serve and what to pour it with
