Nose
Baked apple first, warm and soft, then honey and a light toasted oak note, with a faint vanilla lift in the background.
Palate
Round and lightly syrupy in texture, sweeter than the standard VS, honeyed apple across the middle, toasted oak and a gentle warm spice on the edges, soft tannin from the wood.
Finish
Medium length, easing down to vanilla and a last flicker of warm spice.
How to serve and what to pour it with
