Nose
Toffee and vanilla first, then a soft wheat bread note, a drizzle of honey, and faint charred oak underneath.
Palate
Round and gentle on entry, medium body. Caramel and vanilla lead, baked bread and honey in the middle, a light oak spice that stays soft, not sharp. Easy sipping.
Finish
Medium length, warm and smooth, with fading caramel and a whisper of oak spice.
How to serve and what to pour it with
Neat in a rocks glass at room temperature, or add one large cube if you want it cooler and a touch more open. A few drops of water soften the oak and lift the honey. Let the pour sit a minute before sipping. It also holds up in an Old Fashioned without losing its wheated softness.
